IRMIE Impianti is an engineering and plant construction company present worldwide, at the forefront in design, production and installation of systems for the rail industry and plant engineering in general.

An agile organisation and cutting edge technical tools enable the company to produce a variety of turnkey systems by means of:

History

IRMIE Impianti was founded following the acquisition of IRMIE, a company historically operating in the rail sector for an impressive 50 years. This experience and knowledge was then transferred to the new business.

1995

Production of the first AC Traction Motor Test Bench.

1997

Start-up of the first automatic Brake Testing System.

1999

Design of the first Bogie Rotation Test Bench for dynamic testing of: motor and trailer bogies.

2000

Creation of the first Static Converter for the supply of rail depots and for traction testing.

2003

Set-up of the first production site in Verona. Expansion of the range of special equipment for Testing, Power Supply Units for Testing Rooms, Battery chargers, Automation Panels and High Voltage AC and DC Panels.

2007

ELPOWER was founded thanks to the combined professional experience in the field of power electronics for Renewable Energies.

2009

Creation of a new type of Multi Voltage Power Supply Unit, with input voltage from 3-phase line, able to generate variable voltages for testing rolling stock in accordance with the standard EN50163.

2012

Creation of a new type of Multi Voltage Power Supply Unit, with input voltage from the catenary, able to generate variable voltages for testing rolling stock in accordance with the standard EN50163.

2013

Production of first Test Bench for Brake Cylinders with callipers.

2016

Through the acquisition of Uni.Comp S.r.l., the Irmie group is pursuing its expansion and venturing towards new frontiers.

2019

Uni.Comp S.r.l. merges into Irmie Impianti S.r.l.
